Welcome to the SW: The Force Awakens Big Bang Challenge!
The Big Bang challenge originated in the Harry Potter community, and has since migrated to other fandoms - but we here at theforceawakensbigbang don't discriminate.
The challenge is for writers to create a 10 000 word (or longer) novella for het, gen, or slash. The catch? Your story has to revolve around the star wars universe, specifically that of the force awakens. Artists, vidders and/or mixers can also create illustrations, trailers and/or mixes to go with each story.
Important Dates; Round One
January 20th - February 25th: Sign-ups for writers.
January 20th - February 25th: Sign-ups for artists/vidders/mixers.
January 20th - February 25th: Sign-ups for betas
March 5th-10th: Halfway check-point.
April 25th: Rough drafts are due.
April 27th: Artists/vidders/mixers claim fic summaries.
May 10th - 15th: Halfway artist check-point (with optional art draft)/Final drafts from writer's due.
May 25th: Artists/vidders/mixers' submissions due.
